International Visits

Visit to Arnhem - 24/5 March 2007
Nine people from the Club visited Arnhem for the weekend of 24/5 March. We

visited the Airborne Museum, where we learnt about the Second World War Battle for Arnhem; we then visited the War Cemetry.

 On the Sunday morning, we visited the Burgers Zoo - the second most popular tourist attraction in the Netherlands - where we were given a presentation by the Zoo's director
 
A good time was had by all.
 

Trip to Calais - 17-19 November 2006
This trip incorporated celebrations with Charleroi of the 80th anniversary of their Charter and 75 years of twinning with Braintree and Bocking.

Visit by Contact Club - Charleroi - June 2006

Members of the Rotary Club of Charleroi joined us for President's Dinner and the following week-end.
 
 

Visit by Twin Club - Arnhem - 22-23 April 2006

Four members of the Arnhem Club visited the Braintree and Bocking Club for a weekend to join in the St George's Day celebrations. In addition to attending the Club's St George's Day Dinner, they visited Woodbridge to see the St George's Day parade.....

This was followed by a visit to Woodbridge Town Centre and the Woodbridge Basin.......

The weather was less kind on the Sunday, so Hedingham Castle was visited for light relief....
